Elena Samsonova, CMP, Program Manager

Elena Samsonova is a seasoned event strategist and program manager with over 15 years of experience in public health, education, and nonprofit projects. At FLF, she leads the Dr. Stephen A. Harrison Patient Advocacy Fellowship Program. Previously, Elena spearheaded event planning and continuing education initiatives at Social Thinking, overseeing national conferences that advanced professional learning for educators and clinicians.

Her earlier roles include directing international programs at the Academy of National Economy and Public Administration in Russia, where she built global partnerships and managed academic exchanges, and serving as Project Coordinator for the American International Health Alliance and AIDS Healthcare Foundation. There, she supported regional health initiatives focused on HIV/AIDS care integration and community outreach.

Elena holds an MSc in Global Health and Public Policy from the University of Edinburgh and a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) credential. She is deeply committed to patient advocacy and meaningful change in the liver health community.
